Mercedes Benz Service Care - Keep a Tight Grip on Servicing Costs
by Duncan Selby
The Mercedes Benz servicing costs have come under fire over the past few years, some may say unfairly but that is all right for those people who can afford it to say. However, Mercedes Servicing prices have changed some what over the last couple of years when they introduced fixed price affordable servicing, although some of the servicing when due can appear confusing at times. Now they have introduced SERVICE CARE which is a far better option, enabling you to keep a tight grip on your servicing costs.
The Benefits of Service Care
Your Service Plan will be set and Guarantees the price that you pay today is the price for the next two or three services, which means your payments would not increase even if inflation does.
A Fixed Monthly cost makes it easier for you to budget by enabling to spread the cost of the servicing. The flexibility that Service Care gives you is that you can take your vehicle to any Mercedes Benz Official Workshop for a Service, also the Service Care Plan can be fully transferable to a new owner if you sell your Mercedes Benz, providing that the plan is paid for up front.
The whole Service Care Package has been designed to be comprehensive in the cover it provides, yet simple in the way you can manage and pay for it and is available over a length of time that best suits your requirements.
What is included: Service Care covers the cost of all manufacturer recommended service items which appear on the Electronic service Sheet and any Additional Operations which are Mandatory depending on age and mileage. Such as spark plugs, air filters, combination filters, brake fluid and transmission servicing.
An Electronic Service Sheet is produced for each service due at that time, these indicate which service is due and any additional Operations that may be required. This can sometimes seem a little confusing but there are some items that are only replaced every two years or even four years, this will not included an automatic transmission service which is due at 37,500 miles regardless of age.
